The holiday season in Stamford will kick off on November 24, 2024, with the much-anticipated Stamford Downtown Parade Spectacular, one of the largest of its kind in the country! This year marks the 32nd annual celebration, which will feature 15 giant helium balloons, including beloved characters like Elmo, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, and Scooby-Doo. Additionally, award-winning marching bands, talented dance groups, and the incredible daredevil Bello Nock will headline the event.
Nock, known for his appearances on America's Got Talent and performances with the Big Apple Circus and Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey, will entertain the crowd with his daring acrobatics on a parade float. Colin Cosell, the public address announcer for the New York Mets and New York Riptide, will return as the parade’s master of ceremonies.
The parade begins at noon and follows a nearly one-mile route starting at the corner of Hoyt and Summer streets, continuing south to Broad Street, then down Atlantic Street, and ending at Federal Street. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early for the best viewing spots.
Parking will be available at Landmark Square and other nearby locations. For a sneak peek, the public can attend the annual Giant Balloon Inflation Party, hosted by Point72, on November 23, where they can watch the balloons being inflated and catch a glimpse of Bello Nock.
Don’t miss this exciting event that brings together music, entertainment, and festive cheer to Stamford’s downtown!
